GREETINGS! EMAMBATHENI!

It is a pleasure for me to announce that the AmaMbatha Heritage Society Conference that was held in Durban on the 20th March 2011 was a huge success. would like to thank all who took their time off from Church and some important family engagements to grace AmaMbatha Heritage.

would also like to extend my gratitude to our host Pastor Mandla Victor Mbatha for the Venue, Clement Sthembiso Mbatha for giving us a place to sleep in his house, and the Organising Team led by Lindo Mbatha for the job well done, The ladies and the guys for preparing a very delicious meal which included our hero Manyosi ka Dlekezela’s favourite, “Meat”.

will also like to thank all who participated in the Commissions so that the Heritage will grow to be a respected and inclusive Society of all AmaMbatha. there was new talent didn’t realise was existing in Nozipho Mbatha, Mano ma-Ngubane Mbeje, Mbokodo Mbatha and others… would like to say you all contributed to make the day a success it was.

There were many important resolutions taken, which have been uploaded on this website on .doc format for easy download, the SG has done a good job in tying up the loose ends.

The meeting was opened with prayer and AmaMbatha Anthem “Sibizw’e Nhlazatshe” all people sang it with vigour. would also like to thank our brothers and sisters from Folweni who were already meeting and decided to be part of us, yes AmaMbatha are uniting, which is the dream of AmaMbatha Heritage Society.

Our next meeting will be at Nhlazatshe as per the recommendations of the Commissions which were endorsed by the Conference. We are glad tha everybody took ownership of the Conference.
